The eagerly anticipated Bundesliga season opener saw two of the most successful and prestigious clubs in German football, Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich, face off on Saturday night.

Bayern, however, regained the lead shortly afterwards when Joshua Kimmich's cross found Thomas Muller, who headed past goalkeeper Roman波波夫. The goal proved to be the winner for Bayern, securing a hard-fought victory for the Bavarians.
