Monaco is set to make a move for Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy this summer transfer window, according to reports.
The French side have been struggling for goals up front this season and the arrival of Vardy could provide the spark they need to challenge for top spot in Ligue 1.
Vardy has scored 14 goals in all competitions this season, including four in his last five games for the Foxes.
Monaco's manager, Leonardo Jardim, has spoken about his desire to add more firepower to his squad and believes that Vardy would be the perfect addition.
"Jamie Vardy is one of the best strikers in the world," Jardim said. "He can score goals from anywhere on the pitch and he will help us improve our attacking play."
Leicester City, meanwhile, will be hoping to keep hold of their star player as long as possible, but it seems that a move away from the King Power Stadium may be inevitable.
Vardy has already made it clear that he wants to leave the club this summer, with a move to Monaco seen as the most likely destination.
Whether or not Monaco manages to secure a deal remains to be seen, but one thing is certain - there will be plenty of interest in Vardy over the coming weeks and months.
