Paris Saint-Germain has refused to sell their star forward Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid for the price of €150 million (approximately $176 million), according to reports in France. The French giants have always been reluctant to let go of Mbappe, who is currently valued at around €180 million ($209 million).
The report comes after Real Madrid had reportedly made a bid of €150 million for Mbappe earlier this week. PSG were said to be considering the offer, but ultimately decided against selling their prized asset.
Mbappe has been with PSG since he was just 17 years old and has helped them win numerous titles, including three Ligue 1 championships, two Coupe de France, and one UEFA Champions League title. He has also won several individual awards during his time at PSG, including being named the Ligue 1 Player of the Year twice.
Despite his success at PSG, Mbappe has been linked with a move away from the club in recent months. However, it seems that he will remain with the team for the foreseeable future, despite the interest from other clubs.
It remains to be seen what the future holds for Mbappe at PSG. While he may not leave the club anytime soon, there is no doubt that he is a valuable asset to the team and could command a high transfer fee if he does decide to depart in the future.
